UNDER-8 Mini-Ball Competition
Join Alley Swoop at Swooper Hoopers, our official introductory basketball program for boys and girls aged 5-8 years. Players learn the basic fundamentals of the game in a fun and safe environment with accredited coaches.
We run programs every school term at multiple locations. Each program typically runs for around 8-weeks, with a range of skills covered, preparing first-timers for our junior club competition.
The program is headed by Jordan McKenzie, who is a fully qualified Basketball Queensland Level-2 basketball coach.
Players can expect to exit the program with an improved skillset, greater confidence and the seed planted for lifelong love of basketball!
NEW PARTICIPANTS
Players who register as a New Participant receive a Swooper Hooper Participant pack which includes:
- Swooper Hooper singlet
- Drink bottle, and
- Basketball
