Former CEO of Basketball Queensland Joins Seahawks as Interim General Manager

The North Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the appointment of Graham Burns, former CEO of Basketball Queensland, as its Interim General Manager (GM). With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Burns brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his new role.

Previously serving as the CEO of Basketball Queensland for nearly twenty years, Burns spearheaded initiatives that led to sustained growth and financial stability within the organisation. His strategic vision and leadership skills were instrumental in implementing high-performance structures, revamping league formats, and fostering significant participation growth.

Burns also boasts experience as the General Manager of Cairns Basketball Inc., where he continued to excel in enhancing governance, strategic planning, and organisational expansion. His appointment at North Gold Coast Seahawks signals a new chapter for the association, poised for further development and success.

Expressing his excitement about joining Seahawks, Burns stated, "I am genuinely thrilled to be joining the North Gold Coast Seahawks family.
