The North Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball Association would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Graham Burns for his invaluable contributions as our Interim General Manager.
Graham’s time with us was always intended to be short-term, and he has fulfilled his role with remarkable dedication and expertise. As well as steering our ship for the past 6 months, he has implemented a large number of policies and procedural documents, which can only strengthen the association. Although Graham will be transitioning out of the GM role in the coming months, his support for the Seahawks remains steadfast.
Reflecting on his tenure, Graham stated, "My role here was always intended to be interim, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the North Gold Coast Seahawks. I will continue to support the club in any way I can and help guide the process for selecting a new General Manager. The Seahawks have a fantastic team of staff and committee members who are passionate about the club and are committed to providing the best opportunities for our members."
President Rob Sleaford expressed his gratitude, saying, "We are incredibly thankful to Graham for his hard work and dedication during his time with the Seahawks. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in our recent successes, and we are confident that his guidance in selecting the next GM will ensure a bright future for our club."
Before his departure, Graham has several projects he aims to complete, ensuring a smooth transition for his successor.
