McDonalds Coomera new naming rights sponsor of Swooper Hoopers

For the first time in club history our introductory basketball program, Swooper Hoopers, will have a naming rights sponsor with McDonalds Coomera partnering with us in 2022.

Swooper Hoopers is the North Gold Coast Basketball’s official introductory program for boys and girls aged 5-9 years. Players learn the fundamentals of the game, in a fun and safe environment with accredited coaches.

McDonald’s Coomera CEO, Michael Power, is excited to be a part of the grass roots program within the North Gold Coast Seahawks Association.

“Here at McDonalds Coomera, we are proud of our investment into community sport based on the Northern Gold Coast and are pleased to add the Swooper Hoopers program to our family,” said Mr Power.

“We understand that it takes a lot for clubs to get programs up and running and we hope this partnership supports the North Gold Coast Seahawks and Swooper Hoopers”

Development Officer and Head Coach of the Swooper Hoopers program for the North Gold Coast Seahawks, Marko Savic, shared Mr Power’s excitement over the partnership.

“We continue to see record numbers for Swooper Hoopers, and with this partnership it will allow us to continue investing in our coaches who help develop and teach our junior athletes” said Savic.
