The addition of Carey to the team marks a significant milestone for the North Gold Coast Seahawks, as they continue to build a formidable roster for the upcoming campaign.
Majella Carey brings a wealth of talent, experience, and leadership to the North Gold Coast Seahawks. As a seasoned professional with a proven track record, Carey is expected to make a considerable impact on the team's performance during the 2024 season. Known for her exceptional skills on the court, strategic prowess, and unmatched dedication to the game, Carey is set to be a key player for the Seahawks.
Upon returning from her collegiate career which saw her have stints at Simon Fraser University and Lincoln University, Carey suited up for the Townville Flames for 2023 NBL1 North where she averaged 10.79ppg and 7.00rpg. A current development player for the reigning premiers the Townsville Fire in WNBL, Majella will be a significant part to our success in 2024.
