After announcing David Gurney (U14 Girls Teal) and Francis Moala (U14 Boys Teal), we are very pleased to announce Vicki Sams as our U14 Boys White Head Coach, along with Marko Savic as our U14 Girls White Head Coach.
This marks a return to The Nest for Vicki after a period coaching a little further down the M1. Prior to that Vicki was part of the furniture, coaching countless representative sides since the very early days of our Association and being a long-time Coombabah Clippers coach.
Moving back in to the area again made a return to teal, white and blue a logical choice for Vicki. We're pleased to have her on board and look forward to seeing what she does with the U14 Boys White team once selected.
Marko continues to gather experience at a rapid rate. He was recently named as our QSL1 Men's Head Coach, but makes a return to the girls side of the Junior Seahawks program after a couple of season's coaching the boys. His last Junior Seahawks girls coaching appointment was with the U16 Girls a few seasons ago, a team that improved rapidly. We look forward to seeing the same with this group.
Trials for the U14's are already underway. Thank you for all the players that have been part of the first two trials and good luck for the 3rd and team selections.
Our U14 Boys Navy Head Coach was be appointed in due course as trials proceed.
