Basketball is a great social sport to play with friends all year around.  We don’t get rained out, or let weather dictate when you get to play.  Suitable for the whole family, our games are played on full-sized timber floors with qualified referees.

Team entries are now being taken for our Gold Coast Senior Domestic Basketball Competitions which are played on Sunday & Tuesday nights at Coomera Indoor Sports Centre & Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium respectively.  The Men’s, Women’s & Mixed competitions provide levels for all players, from A to C grade competition, suiting the more experienced players, through to social and newcomers.

We encourage new teams to enter this season as we look forward to another record breaking season.  Competitions for the Summer season are as follows:

The Summer Season will commence on Sunday 1st October and Tuesday 3rd October and concludes in March 2018.

Costs:

Each player must be a Member of the Seahawks Association (BQ Rego) – $58.30 (2017 rate)

Team Nomination Fee: $270 if paid by 9th September 2017.  $300 from 10th September onwards

Team Nominations are due by 17th September 2017.

Team Bond: $120 (returned when Team no longer plays)

Weekly Match Fee: $75

How to enter a team:

Each Team requires a Team Delegate.  The Team Delegate should then enter the team online at www.seahawksbasketball.com.au/seniorteamrego

The Team Delegate will be required to pay the Team Nomination Fee ($270/$300) and the Team Bond ($120) with the Team Entry.

The Team Delegate should collect each players email address ahead of entering the Team so that they can take advantage of the Player Invite system which will invite each player to register with your Team, simplifying the process for players.

Uniforms:

Each Team requires a uniform.  Uniforms can be sourced from a number of suppliers.

Seahawks Representative and Junior uniforms are supplied by Zone Sports (www.zonesports.com.au)
